Russian Armed Forces UAV Operator Involved in the War Against Ukraine

Maryia Viktorivna Krupoderova (call sign “Kino”) is reported to be an active participant in the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine and to serve as a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) operator. She is stated to be serving in the Border Guard Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Rostov Region and to have received three medals as well as a commendation from the FSB for participation in military operations.

Her social media accounts reportedly contain material suggesting involvement in combat operations, including references to activity in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine (including Avdiivka) and in active conflict zones, such as the Kursk region. She is also reported to have been present in the Kursk region since 07.08.2024.

Her Telegram channel («девичье приграничье») is also reported to contain photo and video materials depicting so-called “trophies” allegedly taken from the bodies of fallen servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Krupoderova is reported to have received three medals and a commendation from the Border Guard Service of the FSB for participation in military operations. Public references to UAV-related activities, as well as content linked to occupied territories (Avdiivka) and the Kursk region, are cited as indications of her active involvement in the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

According to data from OsintKit, Maria’s military service reportedly began in 2018, when she was assigned as a UAV operator. On 19 April 2024, she publicly confirmed that she was serving in this role.
